Closed, tiled, and beat!

We successfully closed our first house, and didn’t even take a minute to celebrate, shame on us. It closed last Friday, and since then, I have been busy wrapping up a couple of local projects and then Levi and I went up to the house on Tuesday for a couple days to work on the flooring.

We spent the night in the house, and as a funny side story, we didn’t have the power turned on in the house until Wed. morning. So we watched a movie on the laptop and then went to bed. Note for next time: get the power turned on before you get up there!

So we spent a long day on Wed. getting all the tile set and the carpet torn out, and most of the wood floor laid in the dining and kitchen. We were pretty beat after a 12 hour day and thought we deserved a steak dinner, Texas Road House was hit before the sleepy drive back to Wilmington. We got home about 11 pm, and quickly collapsed into bed!
